I have all of your CD’s plus two of your music books. This past July/August my granddaughter was hospitalized with a dangerous medical condition that required two hospital stays, ICU, and an eventual operation (After getting brief leave to return home to play a lead part in her summer theatre production of Les Mis). I sent her ‘Strength and Sunshine’ from your latest CD STORYTELLER. It aided both of us in a difficult time...especially as she was singing in recovery after one procedure! I am praying for your completel recovery as the music you create bring so much joy and spiritual renewal to so many. May God bless you as you have blessed all of us with the powerful tool of joy and positive spirit that your music provides. Can’t wait to hear/witness the show that you eventually produce from Storyteller.

10 years ago i wrote you a letter and sent you a photo from our 2 little daughters. I received a nice letter from you. Since then i got all your albums. Secret Garden is really unique! My wife also likes AHA very much. Would be nice to have you together with them on stage! That would be a top Norwegian performance with an Irish touch! I hope you will recover soon, Fionnuala! All the best for you and Rolf and your families.

As a retired school counselor, I am used to having music in my environment nearly all the time. Music like yours was always playing softly in my office, making my work more personal and spiritually kids.” I discovered your music on Pandora, and it is one of my “station” in my account there. Thank you for your work. Regards your breast cancer, hang in there, Fi. My mother passed away last year after having survived two bouts of breast cancer, losing both sides, surviving for over 30 years. She hated those prosthetics, they strained her back a lot, but she joked they were handy weapons, if she ever needed to fend off somebody. My wife is also a double mastectomy survivor of about 20 years. While these surgeries altered their bodies, both Mom and my wife became more whole spiritually, and was/is deeply loved by husbands and family.

Thank you for bringing us such beautiful and inspiring music! I've been listening to your music since I was 9, and it led me to the wonderful musical journey that you've made (and my favourite songs are Nocturne, Celebration, Gates of Dawn, Adagio and Greenwaves). Best wishes and God bless you!

Dear Fionnuala, As a breast cancer survivor, I can only imagine how hard this time must be for you and your family. Take the time you need to heal and to be with the ones you love. Life takes on new meaning when we're faced with our own mortality. Know that your music has been an inspiration for so many and we wish you a speedy recovery.

Thank you so much Fionnuala, for your lovely music - you and Rolf are a uniquely talented combination. Only discovered you very recently - and thoroughly enjoyed your Lillehammer concert from 20 years ago (on YouTube.) Storyteller is also a wonderfully chilled-out album, and is perfect company on the road. I was very saddened to hear about your cancer, but thankful that you are pulling through. Rest well, and may God grant you a full recovery! Hope you visit the UK in the not-too-distant future. It would be such a pleasure to experience you guys live! Take care.

Wishing you well Fionnuala. Your music has been so inspirational to me as I have worked my own way through a debilitating illness over the years. You have also inspired my violin playing too - I have spent many hours playing your wonderful music. To you both - thank you.

I just want to express my prayers and well wishes to you two. I am sorry things are beyond rough right now. I have several of your wonderful CDs and a couple of concert DVDs. I, like so many other people, love your music! I just wanted to encourage you not to give up and to trust in God. He will sustain you. -Vicky

sorry - but I've never heard of you until 3 days ago. I'm sharing here a whatsapp message that I wrote to my girlfriend a few days ago - untouched (a word by word, and rarely I write her in English). So just before I paste it - best wishes for health and getting well soon. May the endeavor you face now take you and your music to new heights. The whatsapp I wrote to my love is untouched below: Here's the story: I'm working... and hearing music. Kind of in the background. So, I'm kind of blind (should I say deaf?) to it. But the music is THERE. And my senses, are not totally oblivious to it. And then, there's a piece... which takes me over. Have we ever dreamed of a *secret garden* that'll be the place for *just the two of us*?
